How do I change double click to single click to open folders and other things?
Note: I am running 10.13.2 on a MacBook Pro.
Situation: As I drill down to sub folders and sub folders I find myself doing a lot of double clicking. It is the same deal when opening applications, it would be very nice and intuitive for it to be a single click, not double.
Goal: Change double click to single click when opening things from folders to application to windows.
Tried:
In finder, 'View as columns,' does the trick for one clicking but doesn't allow for a nice display of everything in the folder; not what I'm looking for.
I looked in 'Finder Preferences,' didn't find a fix.
I looked in the app store, didn't find anything, I could have missed a nice app?
There is a similar old post for this question but is from 2011 and doesn't give a solution from what I saw.
