FaceTime Goes Into Background Automatically

I’ve been dealing with this issue for months now where I’m on a FaceTime call and it would automatically go in the background even though I didn’t press the home button automatically. Then it would be a hassle to get the call back on the main screen even after multiple attempts to press the green “resume call Bar” at the top of the screen. This has made my most used feature very very problematic to deal with.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Hello Emmanuel,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that when you are on a FaceTime call the FaceTime app is going to the background and when you tap the green bar at the top of the page, it does not return to the forefront. I recommend force quitting all the apps that are running and then restarting your iPhone.

Make a call using FaceTime and let us know how it goes.

Best Regards.
