Can't view MP4 videos

It seems that I cant view some MP4 Files from my Car dash camera place on micro card AND Copied to iMac's desktop .

Any idea will be appreciated .

MP4 is a container not a format. If the MP4 uses a codec Macs don't support, QuickTime won't play it. VLC should play it however.

You're welcome. There is nothing you can change.

As I said, some MP4 files will play and some won't depending on the codecs that were used.

VLC should play all of them.

But I can view other same files - pls see these files above the one selected .

So how can I see with QuickTime ?

Do I need to change something in my dash cam format file ?
