Thumbnails don't load on Apple TV.

I'm currently away for work staying in a hotel, and I've bought my Apple TV.

While connected to the hotel wifi thumbnail images for iTunes, Netflix, Music, and a few other apps don't load. I can still make selections and play videos off Netflix and other on demand services, but anything Apple based doesn't work. My DNS settings were automatic, I then changed them to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (the google DNS) which still didn't work, so I am now using automatic again. While using my iPhone hotspot the images load, and everything works fine, so I've worked out it's definitely down to the hotels wifi.

Just to clarify, the Apple TV successfully loads the descriptions for everything (including Apple services like the store, as well as third party services), and can play content from third party services like Netflix and iPlayer.

The Apple TV will not load Apple Music tracks, iTunes movies, Apps I try to download, and most thumbnails (from Apple services, Netflix, Amazon Prime video, Apple Music album art).

I'm running the latest software, and I'm using a new generation Apple TV with white ring around menu button (but not 4K).

Has anybody got any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
