iPhone battery went dead

How can I back up my Iphone. The battery went dead and i cannot connect anymore the phone to the power recharge element. I am really stuck.

MacBook (13-inch Late 2007), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Which phone model? The battery can be replaced and you should be able to recover all data once it has a working battery.


However, if you take it into an Apple Store or AASP, make it absolutely clear that you need a battery replacement only. There are reports that some customers are offered a new or refurbished iPhone (with a new battery) as a complete replacement rather than replacing the battery on that specific iPhone.

Hi

If you had iCloud backup turned on before problems then when you charge an iphone it should be automatically backed up to iCloud Over your wifi.

When you get iPhone repaired / replaced.

Set back up over your wifi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes to get your apps and data back.

This will only work if you had iCloud backup turned on before problems.
