I can’t install Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 on my MacBook Pro w/Retina display, high sierra 10.3.13,
I don’t understand why. Shouldn’t the MacBook Pro have the capability of installing a 20 year old program?
Adobe doesn’t support Pagemaker anymore, but Apple doesnt have a “go around”?

It's not a, "no love for Adobe here" here. In case you aren't aware, Installing outdated software on your Mac can invite malware or adware.
I think I ran Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 on my first Bondi Blue iMac purchased in 1998 or 1999. Might be really difficult to find one that's still running now.
Visit the Adobe website for an alternative to Pagemaker.
A 20 year old program? Absolutely not. Please keep in mind, Adobe is responsible for updating their software, not Apple.
Ok, I can accept that. No love for Adobe here. What if I found an older Apple Computer, which model would be capable of installing this program?
