How can I go to a previous icloud backup?

I accidentally permanently deleted my photos off of my camera roll and I have a backup saved from before I deleted the photos. I’m not sure how to go back to a previous backup. Help?

If you were syncing iCloud Photo Library, the photos wouldn't be included in your backup. Check the Photos app and at iCloud.com/Photos for a Recently Deleted album.

If you weren't syncing photos using iCloud, restore fromm your backup.
