appleid@id.apple.com emails to be forwarded

Hello!


I'm trying to forward emails from appleid@id.apple.com to another email address.


Currently, the emails from appleid@id.apple.com are being sent to my iCloud Mail account via my Apple ID login.


The email address I would like them to be forwarded too is gMail.


Everytime I try and set-up a rule, I receive the following error message:

User uploaded file

The error message appears to be directly linked to the appleid@id.apple.com rule because as you can see, forwarding has worked absolutely fine for two other rules.


Any assistance would be great.


1. Does anyone else experience this error?

2. If so, is there a workaround?

3. Or is this 'expected behaviour'

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

I spoke with Apple Care, and it would appear that any emails originating from apple.com cannot be forwarded


If you ONLY want to have emails from Apple forwarded on from your account, without having to forward ALL emails, then put the email you want to forward emails to in the 'reachable' section of your apple.id page

Hey - thanks for the hint.


I've tried that but it would appear to forward ALL emails, and I wanted to restrict this (as I receive a lot of spam) to certain emails.


Any other ideas?


Out of interest, have you tried forwarding emails from appleid@id.apple.com and setting up a rule?

Just curious to know whether the error is on my account, or an iCloud thing?
