HomePod connection error an unknown error accurred (400)

Has anyone resolve the the HomePod connection error an unknown error accurred (400). when trying to use airplay on my mac laptop.

I fixed it! It is in the HomeKit section Allow Speaker access. I changed the setting from only people sharing this home to Anyone on the same network.🙂

Thank you for posting your response. I had changed the settings to "only people sharing this home" yesterday and had failed to make a connection that my macs (iMac and MacBook Pro) stopped streaming to HomePod after that. An interesting observation is that the iOS devices were not affected by this change at all.
