What to do when Apple Store won’t answer phone?
I left my iMac desktop at Memorial City Apple Store (Houston) yesterday, Feb 9th. Apple Diagnostics discovered It needs a new hard drive, after downloading the Feb 2nd Security update. I desperately need this done, but I can‘t connect with Memorial City Apple Store!
Today, Feb 10th, the Apple Store opened at 11:00 am. I’ve called every 5 minutes for 3 hours...close to 40 calls. The phone rings and rings, then busy signal. I called Apple Support, was on hold for 35 minutes, and they tried calling the store again and again. No answer.
i finally was handed over to a very professional and courteous manager, Joshua T., who personally took over my case. He has ways to contact the store manager. I await his call back to me.
Apple used to care as much about their service as they did theIt products! I know they are busy on Sundays. But I know they can, and should, hire one person to receive incoming calls. At least, to take messages and assure their customers their concerns and requests are head and a message will be passed along when they are less busy.
