Macbook Pro system taking too much space

I am using MacBook Pro early 2015 model. It has 256 Gb SSD storage with Mac OS High Sierra OS. The system taking 75+ Gb storage. Initially, it was 100 Gb, I cleared iTunes storage, cache etc. then it went down to 75Gb. I am not sure why it takes up so much space. Any suggestions?

Storage Full But New Computer I have a new 2017 MacBook Air with 128 GB running Mojave OS. I am getting notifications that the storage is almost full. Disk Utility shows Macintosh HD with 21 GB used, 94 GB other volumes, and 5 GB free. I have installed very few apps and have no documents, photos, or videos stored on the laptop. Try signing out of iCloud and sign back in to see if that would change anything.
