Bluetooth not available on MacBook Pro Os X 10.11.6

Symptoms:

1. If Trackpad connects to MBP, only in basic mode - No extended features

2. Bluetooth icon at top of screen indicates: Bluetooth: Not Available

3. Bluetooth icon is missing from System Preferences

4. System profiler shows only "No information available" under Hardware/Bluetooth

5. In Safe Mode, everything works perfectly (Therefore, not a hardware issue.)

Attempts to fix:

1. Reset SMC

2. Reset PRAM

3. Delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

4. Delete ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist.****

None of these solve the problem, either individually or as a group.

Suspected source of problem: Polar FlowSync software. Have moved to Trash and redone all above - still no BT.

Other info: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

How do I get Bluetooth back?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
