Error "This session has timed out for your security." on https://appleid.apple.com

Okay, so after trying everything I could think of, I am left with no other option but to start an open ended new discussion.

My Apple ID works fine on Apple.com and iCloud.com. But when I try to login to manage my apple ID, on appleid.apple.com, it asks me if I should allow this access from this particular location, and gives me the 2 factor authentication code on my phone, and I type in that code, which hardly takes 20 seconds. But it brings me back to the same login page, with the error = This Session Has Timed Out For Your Security

Now, I've tried, changing the apple ID password, which was fine, but it still has the same error with the new password. Changed browsers, from safari to chrome to firefox - nope; Restarted my computer (MacBook pro mid 2014, running high sierra) - nada; tried using my iPhone to do the same -zilch; cleared cookies and cache - uh uh!

Tried to access my gf's apple ID, worked like a charm. So I know its only my apple ID, with an issue thats not on my end. Even tried entering my CC details again, accessed through iTunes = a big fat NO!

So, if anyone has had this issue, or figured out a way - please let me know.
