I am transferring the contents of a late 2012 Mac mini to a late 2014 Mac mini. The first time I ran it, there was an interruption and all files were n to migrated. If I run it again, will it transfer duplicate files?

FYI. I did run Migration Assistant a second time. All files were transferred and there were no duplicates. thanks for all of your help.

I've seen posts from folks who did run Migration Assistant twice and they say it did not duplicate files. But to be safe I'd make a Time Machine backup or clone of what you have now.

In my case I already have a 3TB external drive which is set up to backup things, so I believe I will be OK. It's a new Mac mini with basically no important files on it save those coming from the migration Assistant operation. I think I will be OK. Appreciate your help.
