Fraudulent Apple Support

I have been receiving calls on my I-phone from "Apple Support" warning me that my account has been hacked and that it is being used in overseas countries. It is clear to me that these are hoaxes meant to access people's financial information. I returned one of the calls in which the support person asked me to turn on my computer and open Google. I asked why would I need to open Google if this is an Apple issue. He immediately hung up on me. But now the calls are coming with more frequency.

On the most recent phone message from "Apple Support", this is the number they asked me to call back: 747-212-5913. So be warned. There is an Apple Support scam out there preying on iPhone users.

What can I do about these callers?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
