So, I woke up this morning with my almost brand new Iphone X vibrating every 2 seconds and the loading icon just scrolling. It was also VERY hot and I tried to keep it cool by taking the case off and keeping it near cold air. I've had this iphone for around a month. I have tried force restart. I briefly saw the home screen for a split millisecond, but I dont know what caused it and it went back to the loading icon. Can someone help me?

To fix my iPhone I just followed instructions on how to restore it. I connected it to my computer which had iTunes installed. Then I restarted the phone because it wouldn’t turn off, and while it was turned off between the restart I held the volume down and the power button at the same time and I connected the lightning cable which was connected to the computer. The phone will then go into restore mode. If your phone does not turn on or is completely black screen and unresponsive to everything I would go to a professional. Good luck

Try a restart/reset: press volume up briefly, press volume down briefly, press the hold the Power/Sleep button.

After restarting/resetting the phone EXACTLY like you said, the phone just showed the Apple logo and still didn't turn on. Instead of the loading icon it showed the apple logo but its still frozen. Every time I reset it it just shows the apple logo. It ran out of battery (surprisingly) and I plugged it in hopeful that it would be fixed but nope, its still stuck on the apple logo. I'm actually afraid the screen is gonna get burn in. Any other suggestions?

Its so weird though because when I researched the internet I found one post on some random website and I SWEAR this guy copied and pasted my problem into that post. Apparently the iphone shorted out, which is weird because I use a 12volt apple brick and an original lightning cable. Thanks again!
UPDATE: After the Apple logo shows up and after like 10 minutes the loading icon returns.
Same thing happened to me. Can you please advise on what happened with your phone? I have been notified of replacement. But I want to know what caused this.
