Couldn't Connect There may be a problem with the server. Please try again later. This error continuously comes up when trying to share a note with someone. I’ve tried logging out and back into my iCloud account but it hasn’t worked. I’ve also checked through me settings but nothing seems out of the ordinary. Any suggestions?

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.5

Thanks for your reply but the problem is still not resolved. It seems that if I try to share a note when logged into iCloud on the desktop computer I can share it via email. My recipient hasn't accepted the share request yet but I had no error messages saying "couldn't connect. there may be a problem with the server...".

If i try to share a note via email on my phone it gives me the same error message about the server.


Any thoughts on this?

I see that you're trying to share a note you've created in the Notes application on your iPhone 7. You've received a message that there may be a problem with the server. Good job with the troubleshooting you've used, and I'm happy to help.


Get help with iCloud -- Under "Get Started" is a link to check the Apple System Status page. At this time, System Status is showing "iCloud Notes - Resolved Outage". If you haven't tried sharing the note recently, attempt to share your note again.


Share your notes -- If the issue persists, review the information in this article and apply any steps that may have been missed.


Let me know how that goes.
