Green flicker through screen

I get a green flicker come through my screen when streaming through Netflix, youtube and when streaming trailers on iTunes. Only happens through safari. Been to see the apple technician in my area and they said all it was was that it is a Netflix issue and Netflix needs to upgrade it software but I don't see how its a Netflix problem when it only happens of safari and happen through other programs. issue has gotten to the point when one Netflix, TVNZ on demand and three now ( tv channel catch up websites ) all I get is a green pixelated screen which won't go away covering the whole screen.

Any ideas on what could be wrong would be greatly appreciated
