Connection from iOS 9.3.5 on iPad 2 to iCloud Driver

I successfully work with iCoud driver from macOS High Sierra. I want to access the iCloud drive directories from a iPad running iOS 9.3.5. The iPad is connected (I see that in the macOS settings) but I see an empty iCloud driver.

Any idea how I can debug this?

Thanks

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 9.3.5

Hello sachama,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with iCloud Drive on your iPad. I am happy to check this out with you.

I recommend verifying both devices are signed in to iCloud using the same Apple ID. This article will help you verify which devices are signed in to your Apple ID: Check your Apple ID device list to see where you‘re signed in

Once you ensure the iPad is signed in to the same Apple ID as the Mac that can access your iCloud Drive files, if you still have issues, I recommend turning iCloud Drive off on the iPad. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > and turn the slider for iCloud Drive off.

Then, restart your iPad: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

When it comes back up, go back to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > and turn the slider for iCloud Drive back on. This should get everything re-syncing together.

Let us know if you need further assistance with this. Thanks and have a wonderful evening.
