New Apple ID

I had a student discount for my old Apple ID that was hacked. I now have a new Apple ID, but is there any way to recover that? I cannot listen to music in my car because it will not allow me to make a new account on Apple Music with my email.

Did you (or were you able) to verify the new Apple ID via Unidays? Usually the ID you use to sign up for the special Apple Music subscription price (your student email address) is verified through Unidays. The Apple ID itself isn't used to sign up for the student special pricing.
