Finder Recents Folder

Hello all,

I decided to "clear" the Recents folder, you know just to give some air to Mac, like clearing the "cache". So, I emptied the Recents folder. And then emptied my trash. And I noticed that When I deleted the files in Recent folder, they were deleted from their root location, not just from the "cache". Is this some kinda joke? Or Am I allowed to have my heart attack?

Just to resurrect the topic, given a second thought, Is this how you delete a file? I mean, If you want to delete a file, you go to where the file is located. I just don't get why Mac works like that. It's like having a file in two different folders, when I delete it from the secondary folder (Recents), system removes it from the root as well. I find it really obsurd. I mean, in the end, Recents is there to help reach the last files used, without going to the actual folder, keeping it handy for easy access. Are we sure Is this how it should work? 🙂 It's a bug or something maybe. 🙂
