My Camera Roll is Missing

My iPad does not save any new photos. I go to my Photos app and there is no Camera Roll. I only see photos and screen shots. But when I take pictures with my Camera the picture can be opened but is not saved into my Photos. I know it’s not a memory problem cause I do have 7G of free memory storage. Help!

See the following from Get help with your iCloud Photo Library - Apple Support

After you turn on iCloud Photo Library, the Camera Roll album is replaced with an All Photos album. The All Photos album gives you the same compact scroll view, now with all your photos and videos organized by the date you add them.
