Photos won’t save to Camera Roll

My iPad 9.7 wont save photos to the Camera Roll whether I use the camera to take a photo or try to save something from an app or website. I tried turning cloud syncing off/on and doing a soft reset, but nothing has worked. Anyone have any tips?

Hi,

First of all, is your iPad on the most up to date version of iOS?

I would suggest doing a backup and a Factory Reset and setting up the iPad as new. This will tell you whether it is a bug in the OS or a problem with your iPad.

If the issue still persists, take to your local Apple Store and book a genuis appointment. If you are within warranty, they should be able to sort a replacement device as it sounds like a hardware defect.
