Why is Easter not on my calendar?
I know that millions of people celebrate Easter...so why has Apple decided to delete it from the calendar? I guess I am going to have to switch...

The calendar has been made secular making it up to the individual which religious events, if any, they wish to include on their calendars according to their beliefs. It appears some religious holidays remain listed but those also happen to be national holidays (at least where I live). Easter isn't an official national holiday. Many special days are there but those are not religious days per se.
You can add Easter by subscribing to calendars which include religious holidays.
US holidays calendar for iOS that includes Easter - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8264356?answerId=33049767022#33049767022
If you want Christian holidays to appear on your calendar then subscribe to a Christian holiday calendar.
I use this one: https://www.calendarlabs.com/templates/ical/Christian-Holidays.ics. There may be others.

Because unlike Apple, Google is oh so all-inclusive and tolerant. Right?

There's no differences, Samsung is using Android and not or.
Please buy something your religion allows.

It is a little extreme to switch religions rather than just downloading the calendar you want.
That resource is excellent. I downloaded it straight away to my .....Galaxy as it had none of these but mostly "just because" š
As for my IPhone, I like to keep it completely individualized and open to add whatever I like while learning about Holi, is it?
See....always learning from Apple and fellow users. Whoop! Thanks all š¤

So why is Holi which is a Hindu (religious) holiday still there if the calendar is supposed to be secular now?
You have to try to keep up. The post you are responding to is from the 19th. It is now the 27th. There have been radical changes in the past week, so your comment is no longer applicable. Easter is not only back, but Holi and other major Religions Holidays are as well.

There is some leeway with that, after all we are discussing tolerance and Christians.
all-inclusive and tolerant.
Uh, don't one then want somebody who is not all-inclusive and just thinking about designing the calendar for one particular group?

To be fair, no one is all-inclusive and tolerant. No one.

Because Apple added the holidays back, including some that the Christians don't seem to like.
I consider it as more diverse and showing appreciation for multiculturalism, which earns my respect.
