IOS 11.2.2 not working with Audi MMI

Since upgrading to IOS 11, my iPhone 7 does not function properly with the Audi MMI in my 2014 Q5. I get a message staying the phone doesn't support this accessory. If I turn the phone off and back on when already physically connected (not via Bluetooth) and then turn it back on it will usually work for music but not phone functions. Sometimes neither work. I shut the phone down 3 times on the way in this morning and it never did connect. Please fix this bug or offer a solution that works. It has to be on Apple's side as nothing changed except the IOS version on my phone.

Greetings KCKY,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

I understand that since upgrading to iOS 11, your iPhone 7 does not work properly with the Audi MMI in your 2014 Q5. You get a message that the phone doesn't support this accessory. I'll be happy to help assist you with this.

Are you using USB or Bluetooth? Since this just started after you updated your iPhone, you may need to update the firmware on your car stereo. Check out this support article for steps to help with this: Get help connecting your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your car stereo .

You can skip any of the steps that you've already tried.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Kind Regards.
