Why has Easter been removed from my calendar?
I am just curious as to why Easter has been removed from my calendar. What was the purpose of removing it while keeping other calendar dates that involve religious holidays.

Apple has removed religious holidays from the standard U.S. Holidays calendar. Christmas seems to be an exception, perhaps in recognition of the fact that it is, for many people, a Capitalist holiday, not a Christian one.
See Lawrence's instructions for subscribing to other calendars in this thread:
How come Easter isn’t showing up on my calander but all the other holidays are?
I believe "Easter Monday" is a holiday in the U.K. Made the mistake of being in London as a tourist that weekend. Many things were closed.
Yes Idris, to my knowledge Easter and Easter Monday are holidays almost everywhere in Western Europe.

It’s off mine too. Confused and slightly offended. Would love to know why? I’d accept a good reason if they’d be willing to share.
Thank you!
The bratty children are the ones who insisted that THEIR religion should be get special treatment, but no others.
I don't see it either, but I've been testing so many calendars that I don't know which ones are Apple's anymore.
😉
Where can I go to complain and try to get them to include Good Friday and Easter?
Due to the pressure from everyone over Easter you also get to be reminded of all other religions’ holidays too. Now you will never again forget Holi (appearing on your calendar this coming Friday).

As of yesterday, Apple added back in Easter/Passover/Good Friday/Palm Sunday back into the calendar.
Yes, very annoying.
Why hasn't Festivus been added? I find this very insulting.

As well you should.

I prefer Bacchanalia.
It never is.
