Bootcamp not recognizing Windows Install disk?

Hey guys, I am trying to install windows 10 on my son's 2013 imac [Sierra] via Bootcamp but when on the mac and trying to install windows it is showing "Windows support software not detected". I am not understanding which software it asking for please?

Oh, I am trying with both a windows formatted bootable USB and disk with win10 OS. Does it maybe need a Mac formatted USB drive with a win10 ISO file in it?

Download the W10 ISO from Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) and leave it on your Desktop or Documents folder (but not Downloads), connect a FAT/MBR USB2 flash drive (which will be erased), and run BC Assistant, and click on all three options - Create, Download and Install. Point to the ISO file when prompted, and test.

Thanks for the instructions, to clarify, I first convert the USB flash drive to a mac formatted USB,

No. You want the USB to be formatted as FAT/MBR.

put the win10 ISO file in it, copy it unto the imac's desktop then follow BCA's instructions from there, is this all correct please?

BC Assistant will prompt you for the location of the ISO and copy necessary files to the USB. It will also download and copy the appropriate drivers to support Apple hardware during the installation.

See Install Windows on your older Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support for reference.

On a 2013 model, you can download the W10 ISO from Microsoft's Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) and put it on your Desktop or Documents folder, connect a USB2 flash drive of 8+GB and create a USB2 installer using BCA's first two options - Create and Download. You can then use the USB2 installer to install W10 by using the Install option.

To be able to support Apple hardware during installation, BCA will download appropriate drivers and incorporate them into the USB installer.

Well, it didn't unfortunately. I put in the USB drive with the ISO in it then copied ISO file on the desktop, clicked on Install in BCA and it is showing "The installer dis cannot be found"? Here's screenshots of everything:

Sorry this took so long to complete but your instructions worked, thank you very much!

Only 2 minor issues please. When i power on it automatically boots to the windows unless I hold the option key after the chime, any way to have it by default boot to the Mac side and when windows is needed only then use the Option key?

Also, the windows is not showing my wireless network it is asking only for a wired connection, any way to get the wireless option for windows please?
