my ipod touch keeps blacking out

It’s not the same as the screen saver/screen going dark after a while. This just happened after I uploaded new albums onto the ipod; the screen would go dark and no button would work, except to press the power button; I would hear it “lock”, and only then the home button would light up the screen again. Then within seconds or lless the screen would become dark/black and unresp

I also performed a reset all settings; no help.

When the screen goes dark, I can see faint blocks in a line close to the bottom.

When I press the top power button, I can hear it lock and the screen turns completely black.

Then I press the home button, where the screen comes on again, but usually anywhere from a split second to a few seconds... PLEASE HELP! 🙏-1F3FD;
