“You are not subscribed to a mobile data network”

Hi,

My calls and texts work fine and when I switch on mobile data ‘4G’ is displayed however apps will not refresh or work and when I click on safari I get a message saying ‘you are not subscribed to a mobile data network’ I have reset my network settings, factory reset my phone, manually chose my carrier, switched my phone on and off, contacted my carrier everything’s fine on their end and nothing is solving this problem. I cannot manually change any APN settings as EE don’t allow it. Carrier settings and iOS settings are up to date. I have put the sim into another iPhone and the mobile data works fine so it is not the sim but the iPhone, any help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance

aridwhmt,

It seems like you might have already tried this, but if not:

Go to Settings > Cellular > cellular Data. Is it on?

Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options. Try the different options.

Settings > Cellular > CELLULAR DATA. Is cellular data on for the apps that you want to use, especially Safari? You might try switching it off and back on again.

Let us know if you get it going.
