Import a distribution list into Outlook for Mac

Hello, I really hope there is someone out there who can help, because I have been banging my head against the table trying to resolve this issue.

Problem: I have a Microsoft Surface with Outlook which I have used for the past 3 years, and on it I have a distribution list of about 350 email address for a sailing club of which I am the secretary. I have very recently bought myself a MacBook Pro (I love it!) and have downloaded Microsoft Office 360 in order to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint. I wish to import the list of email addresses into a distribution list in Outlook for Mac but cannot do this. I have saved the emails in a .csv (comma delimited file for Mac) and tried importing from there, but that does not work.

Has anyone come across this problem before; does anyone have a solution that might work please? Thank you in advance.

Hi there, my problem is similar but different. I am a 'remote' worker using Outlook for Mac, my office based colleagues are all on Windows and their Outlook product. I have an address book that I would like to share (non marketing purposes) and have tried every which-way to export my Outlook Mac address book to them but failed spectacularly ever time. Does anyone have a solution that works for lay peeps like me?
