How many password attempts can there be on a Macbook Pro before I am locked out? I am wondering if my daughter enters too many attempts, that my Macbook Pro may become a brick.
Is there a finite number of attempts to login to the Macbook? Is the lockout temporary? How long does it last?

Thanks for your response. I entered 150 incorrect passwords trying to log in to my Macbook Pro, and I was never locked out. So this experimental result seems to be in accord with your statement.

By default macOS has no set limit.
iOS devices have a set limit.
