Replacement battery for 2010 Macbook Air

My Macbook is completely dead. I was having battery issues for about a year or so, then I stopped using it and let it sit for a long time. Now, it won't turn on at all, despite being on the charger all night. Since it's out of warranty, I'm considering replacing the battery myself. On the bottom of my Mac are the numbers A1369, EMC 2392, and 14.5V. The replacement A1369-compatible batteries I've found on Amazon are all 7.6V. How critical is it for the voltages to match? Is there anything specific I should be looking for while shopping for a battery?

I don't believe Apple will perform a battery service unless you're maybe in California where they say that an AASP might be able to order it. I really wouldn't trust any of the ones that you can get on Amazon. I'd trust the ones that iFixit or OWC sell.

The A1369 is for the 13" version. I believe that 7.6V (nominal) is correct. It looks like it's 4 cells in that funky looking frame, so it's two parallel pairs in series, since the nominal voltage of a lithium-polymer cell is a bit over 3.7V.
