Im sure the previous person was talking about the back camera. My question is the same and Im a very experienced iphone user asking about the iphone X running the latest software. So my question is why does the REAR LED light not work, when activated and turned on in accessibility ( LED flash for Alerts - ON ). Even if Vibration is turned off to save battery, the whole function of led alerts is to see it, for calls and texts. Additionally, under settings for sound, phone is set to off for vibration and side key is also turned off for sound. Given these parameters, the REAR led light should flash for alerts ( messages and calls ) and it is NOT. Any suggestions? Thank you

You can enable the rear camera LED flash to come on with notifications. But there is no front LED to flash on any iPhone.
I don't think there is a led notification light on the iPhone X
I also have an iPhone X I cannot get the flash alert to work. I toggle on in Accessibility, led flash for alerts and flash on silent. It is not working!
I just got it to work. Didn’t realize that the lock screen needed to be on when I was testing it.
