Apple support Fraud apps?

  1. Is there any existing apple support? Cannot find any!
  2. Is the Terms of Sale available in my language as well, is it different for my country?
  3. If yes why Apple sends the wrong one?
  4. In the Terms of Sale they are writing that one can cancel the purchase within 14, but there is no word about where?
  5. If I buy a free app in the store Photomynethen how it could happen that it is payable one? They are going to charge 22 USD if you don't cancel it in time. It is called Fraud.
  6. Why Apple let apps with Fraud in their store?
  7. After you check your app subscription (cancel it) you cannot open your subscription status anymore which give me the idea that it was not successful...
  8. Finally: why there is no apple support for their purchases?

1 and 8, there are lots of ways to contact iTunes Support e.g. for purchases the emailed receipt, your purchase history, http://reportaproblem.apple.com , http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww, https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

2, difficult to say as you don't say what your language is. iTunes terms and conditions : https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/

3, ask Apple. You know that Apple's policies can't be discussed on here, nor is speculation allowed.

4, you can request cancellation, assuming that you haven't started to download the item, by any of methods in 1

5, did you read the app's description page in the store prior or since downloading it ? It says that it has an optional in-app subscription.

6, have you got an example of 'fraud' ?

7, ? don't know what that means

1. iTunes - Official Apple Support

2. What is your language and what is your country?

3. Don't know.

4. If you have purchased hardware you return it to where you bought it, if it is an app use #1

5. Photo Scanner is a free app but it also includes In-App purchases for additional features. If you clicked on one of those then you can be charged for what you purchased. That is not fraud.

6. They don't. There is no fraud involved here. There is a user error.

7. If you have no subscriptions it logically did not show you a subscription. I don't have that app so I don't know if one of there in-app purchases is a subscription. If it was, and you saw it in your subscriptions and now it is gone then you have cancelled it.

8. They do. See #1

Thanks:

1 and 8 These two are working, obviously they have inserted the third non working link to the email. http://reportaproblem.apple.com , https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

3 I did not know thank u for letting me know.

4-5 I have downloaded after have checked "free in app purchases".

6 Yes I do. Once I've downloaded it I've got an email from apple that if I don't cancel within 3 days they going to charge me.

7 In the email there wa a link for cancelation which worked once and never ever since.

And there is no way to reach the unsubscribe page.

Yes there is, you simply log into the iTunes account as instructed on the app's description page. For more detailed instructions : View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

And to have an automatic subscription in my terms and by legal terms means fraud.

The app's description page says that it will automatically renew, so you knew that prior to downloading it. And its description page, and the email that you say that you received, tell you that you need to cancel it if you don't want it. That is nothing like fraud

I have to guess based on stubbornness you have business interest in this app 🙂

1. App page: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-scanner-plus/id951627022?mt=8

OPTIONAL IN-APP SUBSCRIPTION:

Enjoy additional features when you subscribe to Photomyne**

See the word optional? See the word when you subscribe? I did not subscribe at all.

2.https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/fraud

Wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.

‘he was convicted of fraud’

count noun ‘prosecutions for social security frauds’

1.1count noun A person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities.

‘mediums exposed as tricksters and frauds’

But I stop this meaningless conversation, from now on.

  1. No email / chat / phone number.
  2. I bought it on my phone I don't have itunes and don't want to.
  3. Not free up if you don't cancel your subscription within 3 days they start charging you forever. It has not mentioned when bought only in an email afterwards.
  4. Obviously they do.
  5. Check the app before answer if u dare.
  6. They don't give me an email / phone number or a live chat link.

Feb 23, 2018 9:51 AM in response to TA-AT

4-5, free in app purchases - you are combining two separate things, it's 'free' to download and allows 'offers In-App Purchases'

6, you haven't posted any example of fraud. For the app that you've posted about its description page clearly says that it offers in-app subscription. Getting an email saying to cancel that subscription within 3 days to stop it becoming paid for is obviously not fraud.

Feb 23, 2018 10:03 AM in response to King_Penguin

6 Download it and you will see it 🙂

It is not optional in-app subscription. Once you've downloaded it you have automatically subscribed for a year for a fee 22 USD which starts after 3 days. And there is no way to reach the unsubscribe page.

And to have an automatic subscription in my terms and by legal terms means fraud.

Feb 23, 2018 10:17 AM in response to King_Penguin

Actually the link what they sent does not working on iphone.

What you have provided works on PC...

The app's description page say "Optional Subscription". And u know who reads apps descriptions? To be honest I did not read until I have my complaints.

So since it says optional it is still a fraud 🙂

But if would not be optional then still a dishonest cheating company policy.

The app's description page gave you instructions for cancelling the subscription, you were sent an email prior to it becoming paid-for telling you to cancel it if you didn't want it to become paid-for i.e. becoming paid-for is optional, if you didn't read the app's description page and ignored the email it was your choice to let it become paid-for. You need lo look up what fraud means
