USB-C Hub Recommendation: Kingston Nucleum

Bottom Line: I recommend the Kingston Nucleum USB-C Hub

I did a lot of research on the current USB-C hubs (available as of Feb 2018) and decided that the Kingston Nucleum USB-C hub had the best features. https://www.kingstongo.com/us/hub/nucleum-usb-type-c-hub

Mainly:

• HDMI port
• 2x USB-A (3.1 Gen 1)
• SD
• microSD
• USB-C (power passthrough only)
• USB-C data

I found that most hubs only have 1 USB-C port, mainly for the power passthrough. As I have a mix of USB-C and USB-A cords/plugs, I want to have both USB-C and USB-A ports on the hub. I'm even changing out cables to USB-X on one end and USB-C on the other, creating more of a need for more USB-C ports.

Wish it had:

• More USB-C ports
• Ethernet
