Hello,
I recently installed windows using bootcamp onto my MacBook Pro with macOS High Sierra. I now want to uninstall it and remove the partition but when I open up Boot Camp Assistant again it says "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition."
How do I go about fixing this?

Your current layout does not permit a clean merge, because the APFS part is sandwiched between two Microsoft parts.
You will need to erase the whole disk in Internet Recovery and re-install macOS and restore your files later.
After you complete the backup, boot into Internet Recovery using Command +Opt+R, run Disk Utility and click on the outermost disk and choose Erase, then quit DU, Restore your backup.
From macOS Terminal, post the output of
diskutil list
Do you have a Time Machine backup? If not can you create one now?
I dont have an external hard drive to back up to but I have all my files backed up on a flash drive
Actually I found an external hard drive and I am doing a time machine back up now
