I have many apps that I do not keep on my iPhone or iPad all the time. I keep them on my computer where I can see them and keep them organized. I do not want them cluttering up my phone. Now that they are gone from iTunes, how do I find them again? They are not on the iPhone in the app store icon under updates as someone else suggested. Where are they?

Karen abd Terry, I considered that you had iOS 11 or later on your iPhone 7, and opening App Store (where you download apps) you should have seen this screen (in my language):
If you tap there, you should have seen "purchased"...
No, there are not different versions of AppStore, but, if you have an earlier iOS version, opening App Store the position you need to tap is at bottom-right (updates), and you'll find "purchased".
If you don't find anything, please send us a screenshot, so that we can try to understand and help you (if we are able to).

Sorry, ProustGiulio, but when I open the App Store there is no picture/profile on the top right. there is nothing about my account, even after I've logged in, and nothing but ads and marketing material for whatever Apple thinks this store is supposed to do.
is there a different version of App Store besides the one at App Store - Apple
Open App Store, tap on top-right (your picture/profile), then tap on "purchased".
