After 11.2.6 update I am unable to create a new mailbox.

Not helpful. I have been following the directions where you sent me for setting up a mail folder on my iPhone. I wasn't asking how to set up a mail folder. My problem is an error message when I follow these directions. I get to Save, Step 3, and the error message "unable to create mailbox" appears. I don't know how much clearer I can make this. Your responses have NOT been helpful.
I have the latest update hoping that might help, but I got the same error message.
Is there a limit to the number of mail folders I can have? I would think the error message would be "reached limit of folders" or something similar. I even deleted a mail folder thinking there might be a limit and tried to create a new one and got the same message.
I have over 6 GB left so it has nothing to do with not enough storage.
Please send me a response that will be HELPFUL. Thanks!
