Logic "Package" files does not backup properly to cloud

I just startet using Jottacloud for backing up my Logic projects.
I save some songs as "folders" and some as "Logic Package" files. It seems that the "Logic project" files does not save properly on Jottacloud. For instance, a 37 MB Logic Project file (that includes audio and all other data connected to the song) ends up as a folder with one 166 KB file called "project data" and type "unknown. In other words, the project is not backed up.

Is this because the Logic "Package" format is storing data to folders that are hidden in Finder on the mac, that confuses a cloud storing system? Does anyone have success with storing Logic Project files to Jottacloud?
