2nd user account AirPods showing across all accounts

Whenever my wife logs into our Mid 2012 MacBook Pro (10.13.3) it bumps out my connection to my AirPods and shows hers across all accounts. I either have to restart or I have reconnect my AirPods. Anyone have this problem? It's very annoying.

Airpods Pro disappear from Bluetooth after switching users on Big Sur On Big Sur, my Airpods Pro disappear from the Bluetooth devices and stop working when I switch user accounts. They reappear when I logout and login again. This is obviously really problematic because I have to close everything and logout just to get them working again. I have seen other people ask the same question with no answer. Has there been any resolution to this? What I want to happen is that when I switch back to a user account that was using the Airpods Pro, they reconnect and become the active audio device again. A second-best option (one that would mean MacOS was at least "not broken") would be that the Airpods Pro still show up in the audio devices list and Bluetooth when the hardware is available.

Airpods disconnecting from new Macbook I recently purchased a MacBook Air Version 11.3.1. Since purchasing, my airpods have been a continuous hassle that never happened with my old mac. They are continuously disconnecting from my macbook for no reason, or if any activity happens on my iphone it disconnects from my mac and connects to my phone. This has been SO frustrating! Especially if I'm working in a public, quiet place. Is there any way to fix this?
