ibooks and music

I am writing a book that uses orchestral music in the content. What restrictions are there for publishing an ibook with musical examples?

Can't change media kind in Music I can't change media kind in Music. I am running Monterey 12.6.1. I have audiobooks that got set as music, and I want to change them back to audiobooks. I also tried dragging them from Music to Books, but it did not work. Any ideas?

How do I import a Garage Band vocal file into an iBooks Author file I have been successfully importing audio made in Garage Band into a book I am writing in iBooks Author. Until this morning, I would create the Garage band vocal track, save it to my desktop on my MacBook Air. Next, I import that into an iTunes playlist set up for this book Then, in iBooks Author, click on widget and choose the media widget. Then I would click on Media, and find the file in iTunes in the menu that appears in Media. I would then drag that into the widget on my iBooks Author page. This no longer works. Help!

Media Kind is only Music now? So audiobooks shuffle with music now. My audiobook files are all classified as Media Kind: Music now and I can't change them to Audiobook (even though they are still labeled as Audiobook under Genre). So, when I shuffle my library, all my audiobook tracks are included in the shuffle. Why was this changed and how can I fix it so only my music (song) tracks play when shuffling?
