Factory Reset

If I do a factory reset to my MacBook air, will I lose everything from my iPhotos and iCloud?

If your content in the Photos app is being synced from iCloud, you will not lose your photos when. you erase your Mac. They will still be in the cloud and you'll be able to access them from any devices you're signed in to and have iCloud Photo Library enabled on. You'll also be able to view them by signing in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.


Keep in mind that If there is any content that has not yet been uploaded to iCloud, you would lose it.
