I've carefully re-ordered all the shots in the right order from within an Album. "Create Slideshow" puts them all out of order. I can preview a slideshow within the Album but not export it - is this true?

Are these photos manually sorted in an album? Try this (it works for me):
1 - Control (right) - click on the album in the sidebar and select Create Slideshow from the contextual menu.
2 - use only the Classic or Ken Burns theme. Other themes do rearrange the photos depending or orientation and layout.
