Activity app

Can we get the Activity app that is on the iPhone/Watch on the MacBook with all the detail? The info that can be shared out of the Activity app on the iPhone appears to only be the ring status and not the detail. I'd like to be able to share the actual detail (actual move calories, minutes & stand hours) not just the picture of the rings. In addition, is there a weekly summary available? Yes you can see it by day on the iPhone, but its just the picture of the rings and not the detail. Can we set our one goals for Exercise to be more than 30 min and possible set a goal for number of steps in this app? Yes you can do this on other third party apps but it would be great to have it all in one.

Hi

Apple does not currently offer either a companion Activity or Health app for computers or an online dashboard for Activity, Health or Workout data.

It is also not currently possible to share the detail of your Activity ring progress.

On Monday of each week, the Activity app provides a Weekly Summary via the Notification Centre on your watch.

The previous week's summary can be accessed by opening the Activity app on your Apple Watch and pressing firmly on the screen.

The Exercise goal cannot be changed.

It is not possible to change any of the Activity app goal rings to reflect steps taken or to show steps on the watch face via any other built-in complication.

The Activity app also does not include a daily steps goal or allow one to be set. Your daily steps total can be viewed:

  • Via the Activity app on your watch:

Open the app and scroll to the bottom of the screen.

  • Via the Activity app on your iPhone:

Select to view a day's results, then scroll to the bottom to see Steps and Distance.

  • Via the Health app on your iPhone:

If you would prefer to set and monitor progress towards step goals and/or to keep track of your steps on the watch face, then you can use a third-party app and also add a complication to your watch face:

Apps that you may wish to consider include, for example:

Pedometer++ on the App Store

  • Integrates with the Health app and offers watch face complications:

User uploaded file

Stepz - Step Counter on the App Store

Watch My Health on the App Store

HealthDash for Health App - Activity Dashboard on the App Store
