facebook sharing option is appearing intermittently in my Photo app menu

Hey all, my facebook sharing option is appearing intermittently in my Photo app menu (it only appears some of the time when IT ry to upload to FB), I suspect this is to do with limits on photos & video upload that can be uploaded to FB.

Two questions:

1) does anyone know the limits on uploading photos / videos directly from Photos app to facebook? I read following closed post and noticed that the facebook sharing option will not appear if I select more than 50 photos and I also noticed that it does not appear if I chose to upload 1 more video with any photos but menu appear and works if just upload photos or a single video

Re: Can't share to Facebook directly from my Photos album even after hitting More... and verifying that Facebook was ticked in the options. My share menu is just coming up with the Sync option and the More... option.

2) if I choose to upload directly from Facebook website (eg create album on facebook and then upload photos) is there any way to access my Photos library directly? At the moment I need to select photos in Photo app then export photos to folder on hardrive (so I can see them in explorer) then upload photos which is a real pain

Q2: I figured out how to to this (UIE) - below are instructions

How to add Mac OSX images to FB using your browser (screenshot below)

In FB Click “add photo / video” on photo album or new post
A Mac “Finder Window” / “Explorer Window” will open with a menu on LHS screen and files on RHS of screen
Click on LHS of screen and scroll down to “Media” at bottom of LHS menu, under “Media” option you will see “Photos” and “Movies” subfolders
If you click on “Photos” it will open up your Mac “Photos App” in your “Finder Window” / “Explorer Window” and you will see all of your photos and videos (see screen shot below for example with “Photos” selected on LHS and my images appearing at bottom of RHS (generic photos)

You cannot upload too many photos and videos at once. If you select more than 50 items at once to share to FaceBook, the FaceBook item will vanish from the Share menu.

So share your photos with no more than 50 items selected at once.

Yes that is how it usually works ... but over the past week it has stopped working. Clicking on Photos does nothing.
