I can't move move app out of folders

I'm on an iPhone X on 11.2.6 and can't seem to move apps from inside a folder to outside of the folder. It doesn't matter if it's in a folder on home screen or other pages: trying to move it out and placing outside the folder just causes the app to animate zooming out and disappear from screen, ending back up in the folder.

It's annoying cause I can't take those apps out of these folders!

Any ideas (besides deleting them and re-installing them)?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hello Viet Dao,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to move apps out of folders you created on your iPhone X. Besides deleting and reinstalling the app, another option is resetting the Home screen layout, which will remove all apps from folders and put them in alphabetical order.
