My iPhone 7 randomly turns off the speaker while I’m talking to someone

How do I fix it?

Greetings snakedogb2,

It looks like no one has responded to your question. Here are a couple things that might help the Community answer your questions:

Does this happen when it is using the speakerphone?
Does this happen when it is in handset mode?
Does it revert to a different speaker, like Bluetooth or from speakerphone to the receiver?
