Why can’t I download free apps without cc card number verification. I’m on a family plan and just want free apps downloaded does anyone know how to fix it

Payment information My App Store will not allow me to download any apps at all, it says I need to verify my payment. I was on a family sharing plan and it would not accept my information saying it was unable to verify the information. So I took myself off the family sharing plan, thinking it would solve the problem. I tried to download the app again, and it still wants me to verify a payment, but the only payment available is gift cards that I have loaded. There is nothing to verify here, and I still cannot download any apps.

no, it's been like that every since apple made itunes / app store in 2007'ish

you can recommend they alter it using their feedback channel
