File cannot be deleted as no permission?!

I have a file which I cannot delete because "i do not have permission". I am the only user of this computer and I can change anything else but I cannot delete this file. I can open the file, but I cannot write to it. I have tried changing the permission in Get info, but it won't allow that either. Is there a way in Terminal? BTW I have re-booted many times.

It is a .sib file (Sibelius music notation program) and it is on a NAS drive

A NAS has its own operating system and file system. It manages its own permissions. You should have some interface that allows you to set the permissions.

As your Get Info shows custom access and doesn't know who the owner is, perhaps something is corrupt about that file on the NAS. Does the NAS have any management software that might allow you to delete the file from within its control.
