two-factor authentication on gmail

I activated two-factor authentication on gmail. now, outlook for mac 2011 keeps asking me about the password. How do I solve this? Thanks

Use a Gmail App Password instead of your usual Gmail password. See the following: Sign in using App Passwords - Google Account Help
